Warehouse Manager

Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) is hiring a management level position, responsible for leading the warehouse operations side of our wholesale supply business. This role is in our Springville, UT location and works from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Some overtime will occur and may be required. This role is essential to the successful fulfillment of our sales efforts to the customers we serve in the greater Wasatch Front market place each day. This job is mentally challenging and has moderate physical demand of typical warehouse activities. Reports to: Operations Manager and PC Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equal
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable record
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and associated functions
• Excellent communications skills, creative problem-solving skills, and organizational skills

• Proven work experience or clear demonstration of the ability to lead a team
• Well-developed attention to details and a desire to be highly accurate
• Stellar multitasking and prioritizing ability, as well as a strong sense of urgency
• Desire for future opportunities and growth, with the desire to earn them

Preferred Qualifications:

• College Degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
• Two or more years' experience leading a team
• Electrical Distribution or similar Wholesale Distribution experience
• Experience recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring employees

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional environment primarily in a warehouse, with frequent outside yard activities, and occasional off-site travel in company vehicles. Performing the essential duties of this job:

• May require standing, bending, twisting, lifting, reaching, and walking with repetition
• May also require the ability to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Requires ability to understand and speak English clearly
• Occasionally requires lifting or moving products and supplies up to 50 pounds unassisted

Essential Job Functions:

• Represent CED in a professional and appropriate manner
• Oversee and contribute to all warehouse functions and dispatch delivery drivers
• Ensure the smooth and accurate flow of material as it arrives at, and is assembled to leave, our facility
• Communicate and help reconcile stock accuracy variances
• Supervise all warehouse activities to ensure they are carried out safely
• Lead employees to succeed in daily tasks and maximizing long-term career goals
• Periodic evaluation of current processes and determine areas for improvement
• Accurately process and secure related documentation
• Champion team objectives and priorities as determined by the Profit Center Manager
