Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Weekend and holiday rotation required | No call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting at a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5
• Monitor, manage, and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Manage peripheral lines and PICC lines in accordance with clinical protocols
• Titrate drips as ordered and within scope of practice
• Float to other campuses within the health system as needed
• Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable, averaging 2–4 hours; completed during orientation)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• Experience with PCU patient ratios (1:5) required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background check cases permitted
• Current driver's license required to verify address
• Requested time off must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO will be accepted
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a multi-campus health system environment
• Comfort with floating across units or campuses as needed
• Strong critical care or progressive care background
